Sydney Uni Rowing Welcomes New Coach

Sydney University Rowing is pleased to announce that Rhett Ayliffe is to take up the new position of Director of Rowing at Sydney University. At this year?s Youth Olympics, crews under Rhett?s charge swept the pool in both men?s and women?s events. Rhett is also a highly successful oarsman himself. Rhett will be working with both the men?s and women?s rowing programmes, in conjunction with Head Coaches Marty Rabjohns and Alan Bennett, and will take an active coaching role himself. He will also use his considerable experience in recruiting to develop programmes in this area to ensure SU Rowing?s exceptional recent success continues into the foreseeable future.

Rhett will be accompanied back to Sydney by his wife Emy and three children Morgan, Kobe and Imogen. Sydney Uni rowing offers Rhett a hearty welcome.
