School Winter Rowing Program

SUBC welcomes school and junior rowing members to join us over the winter period for our Winter Program 2022. SUBC prides itself on inviting young rowers to join and developing them ahead of their return to school for the 2022/23 season, without impacting on their commitment to school rowing once they return.

In 2022 SUBC once again won the overall point score at the NSW State Championships. Demonstrating a robust thriving club that focuses on performance at every level.

Those who have done the program in the past will notice the dates are a later start than usual. These are intentionally later to give our junior members and staff a break between the summer season officially ending and the club winter season commencing.

SUBC's Winter Program is different from other clubs in that no one paddles unsupervised and there is always a coach present to help athletes improve. The focus is always on technical proficiency rather than performance.

Dates: May 30 - August 21 2022.

Cost: $695

What do you get?
• High-quality technical coaching from SUBC U21 Development Coaches and winning First VIII school coaches.
• A heavy focus on having fun, meeting new like-minded athletes, and feeling refreshed in rowing prior to heading back to school
