Dear SUBC Members/Alumni/Supporters,
This year we have a number of NSW rowers selected on various Australian teams for 2016. This includes 5x SUBC athletes and a coach on the Junior Australian Team.
Marcus Britt, Ollie Schwartz, Lachlan Miles, Jack O’Brien, Lewis Willoughby (cox), and Sarah Cook (coach), have been selected for the Junior Men’s Coxed Four to compete at the World Championships in Rotterdam in August. In order to compete however, the crew must raise a collective $40,000 to cover the cost of their seat fees.
To assist the underage athletes in covering their seat fees, Rowing NSW will be holding a fundraising dinner on July 16 at the Four Seasons Hotel. Please get behind the Rowing NSW fundraising effort and show our support as a club for our Aussie athletes.
