With strong entries from Melbourne, WA and quality teams from UTS and UQ, Sydney University will have to work hard to defend their overall champions titles from 2001, 2 and 2003.

Eleven unis have entered the Oxford and Cambridge Cup for men’s eights , 11 teams in the mixed eights and also 11 in the women’s eights.

In total there are 181 entries from 20 universities in the 16 events being contested.
