Sydney Uni Rowing (SUBC and SUWRC) took out the Premier Club of the Year award at SU Sport Awards night recently. With very strong competition from Rugby who also had a steelar year in 2006 the clubs were indeed honoured to have benn chosen. Highlights cited in the aawrd included having 7 athleets selected in the National Senior Team with two ( Kelland Pratley) winning gold. Gold and silver medals to U23 reps Pragnell, Clyne and Renee Kirby, our fourth straight win at the state championships, an impressive 33 medal haul at the 2006 Nationals, winning the Oxford and Cambridge Cup for the third year in a row and many other achievements.
