Jeremy Stevenson bagna rowing at school in 1999 in Perth. After joining the WA Institute squad on leaving school he progressed rapidly into Senior A ranks and was chosen as stroke of the 2006 Aussie Men’s Eight which came fourth at the 2006 World Championships. Now relocated to the AIS in Canberra, Jeremy joined SUBC in early 2007 and represented our club with success at the 2007 State Championships.
Pictured here in the Men’s Elite Coxless Four ( Jeremy is on left of the photo) the composite crew of Sydney University (Jeremy and Matt Ryan) with Tom Laurich of Mosman and Sam Conrad of UQ, took out the event in 6 mins 2 seconds leading all the way ahead of a second composite crew of AIS athletes including Francis Hegerty of SUBC with UTS rowers Nick Baxter, James Chapman and Sam Loch.
Jeremy also rowed in the SUBC eight which won its thid consecutive Men’s Elite Eights Title at this regatta.
