DAVID GELY JOINS SYDNEY UNIVERSITY COACHING TEAM

Sydney University Boat Club are pleased to announce that Dave Gely will be joining of coaching team this week in the role of Senior Assistant Women’s Coach.

Dave will work with Alfie young on coaching our U21/U23 women’s squad to the standard required to help our athletes achieve their goals in rowing.

Dave is an experienced coach with strong track record of success. He has previously coached at UTS firstly as Assistant and then Head Women’s Coach over six years with his team winning 21 national titles in this period. Prior to that Dave was head Coach at Loreto Normanhurst for four years.

Dave is an accredited Level 3 Performance Coach and holds degrees in Science (Bachelor Science – Health and Exercise) and Education (Bachelor of Secondary Education – Science, Chemistry and Biology).

Dave also coaches the St Joseph’s 1st VIII and will continue in that role.
