The Aussie men’s eight race tonight ( Aus time) for a place in the A Final of the 2011 World Championships and with it qualification for the 2012 Olympics. Anchored by the NSW King’s Cup 7/6 combo in stroke and seven ( Fergus Pragnell and Matt Ryan) the crew has made great progress after disruptions caused by moving Nick Purnell and Sam Loch to the four to cover injuries.
