SUBC's Phoebe Teale - Wins 5 Golds 2025 Australian Rowing Championships

Sydney Uni Lightweight rower Phoebe Teale achieved a remarkable five gold medals at the recent Australian Rowing Championships held at the end of March at Lake Barrington in Tasmania.

In Open Lightweight events, Phoebe won:

• The Single Scull

• The Double Sculls

• The Quad Sculls

• The Open Women's Eight

In the Interstate Regatta, Phoebe again won Gold for her home state of Tasmania in:

• The Women's Lighweight Interstate Quad

  And finally, Phoebe picked up a 6th medal - Bronze in the

• Women's U23 Eight.

Phoebe recently graduated and will be heading to the UK in a few weeks for a year of working, recreation, and maybe some more rowing.
