A Sydney Uni team of 10 rowers and coaches is planning a development tour to Canada in July and August. The men’s eight will head to Ontario on 20th July and compete initially in the Ontario Rowing Championships 27-29th July and then at Canadian Henley at St Catherine’s from 5-12th August. Canadian Henley Regatta is one of the major regattas of the North American rowing season. It was initially held in 1880.
To raise funds for the trip the Boat Club is holding a “CANADA LUNCH” at The Scots College Boatshed on Saturday 7th July at 12.30 pm. Tickets are $95 each.
