Boat Race Crews Weigh In On 29th October

The Sydney and Melbourne Uni crews meet on the steps of St Andrew’s College this morning just prior to the crew weigh-ins. The Sydney Uni men’s crew tipped the scales at 708 kgs for an average of 88 kgs and the Melbourne Uni crew at 677 for and 84 kg average.

Before the weigh in the Cpaptains of the Sydney Uni Boats – Mitch Estens and Charlotte Walters issued challenges to their Melbourne counterparts Marc Douez and Sophie Robson to meet at Leichhardt Rowing Club on Iron Cove and race to Riverview Wharf. Marc and Sophie accepted the challenges and the stage is set for two long distance match races on Sunday morning.
