Last night at the Sydney University Sports Annual Award dinner, Simon Strong and Stewart Wood were award Westpac Sportsmen of the year for 2002. The award was presented jointly by Prof. Gavin Brown (Vice Chancellor) and David Bower (Westpac, Regional Executive, Sales & Service). Professor Gavin Brown read a brief overview of the pair’s achievements from 2002, which highlighted the calibre of athletes receiving the award.
