Trials for the Australian 2013 U21 team were held 7-8th July and thre Sydney Uni women rowers made the 18 person team ( 9 men/9 women). India Evans and Candice Williams won the pair trialss to be selected while Holly Lawrence won the lightweight single. The first round of competition was held today and our women’s team was overall very successful winning the women’s quad, women’s four, lightweight double, single scull and eight.
The second leg of this Trans-Tasman competition will be held at Lake Karapiro in New Zealand in the first week of September.
Holly Lawrence won three events, the lightweight double, women’s quad and women’s eight.
India Evans and Candice won 2 events, the four and the eight.
