SUBC is a club built on the core values of dedication, commitment, passion and unity. We thrive to instil these qualities in all members of our club to ensure a positive, fun and supportive training environment is achieved.
Since Sydney University Boat Club (SUBC) was established in 1860 it has been at the forefront of both domestic and international rowing, contributing a multitude of athletes to state and national teams.
The Club’s Boatsheds
The Thyne Reid Boatshed opened in 2017, with state of the art facilities and houses our elite and club rowers.
SUBC also has a second shed located in Blackwattle Bay, Glebe, this shed was home to SUBC’s women’s club before the clubs were amalgamated and now is the home to the SUBC masters.
